By downloading or using Luma, you agree to these terms. Please read them — they’re written to be clear and fair.

1. Acceptance

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of the Luma – Breastfeeding Companion mobile application (“App”) operated by Tan Dhingra (“we”, “us”, or “our”). By accessing or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

2. What Luma is

Luma is a personal feeding tracking utility for parents and caregivers of infants. It allows you to log breastfeeding sessions, bottle feeds, and pumping sessions, and view your feeding history.

Luma is not a medical device. It does not provide medical advice, diagnoses, or treatment recommendations. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional for medical concerns.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 17 years old to use Luma. By using the App, you confirm you meet this age requirement.

4. Luma Pro subscription

Luma offers an optional premium subscription (“Luma Pro”) that unlocks additional features. By subscribing:

Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.
Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renewal is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.
You can manage and cancel subscriptions in your device’s Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions.
No refunds are provided for any unused portion of a subscription period, to the extent permitted by applicable law.

Subscription prices are displayed in the App and may vary by region. We reserve the right to change pricing with reasonable notice.

5. Apple Sign In

Luma offers optional Sign In with Apple for account creation and data management. Your use of Apple Sign In is subject to Apple’s terms and privacy policy. We receive only the minimum information Apple provides (a unique user ID and, optionally, your name and email).

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App.
Use the App for any unlawful purpose.
Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the App or its infrastructure.
Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the App.

7. Intellectual property

All content, design, trademarks, and code within Luma are owned by or licensed to us. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute any part of the App without prior written permission.

8. Data and privacy

Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

9. Disclaimers

The App is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the App will be error-free, uninterrupted, or free of viruses or other harmful components.

Feeding data logged in the App is for personal reference only. We are not responsible for decisions made based on information displayed in the App.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of your use or inability to use the App, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. We will notify you of material changes through the App.
